SensNonsensu (Sense of Nonsense) is the place the atmosphere of which you feel even before you come in. The outside walls covered with the pictures of musicians stylized for the 20’s invite to the world of those days. Additionally, the pub is located in the old tenement house which is very typical for the Old Praga district’s architecture that survived the war in its original shape.
In SensNonsensu you time travel to a pre-war Warsaw flat. You can nestle down in an old-fashioned armchair or sofa and feel the cosiness of numerous trinkets standing on shelves and windowsills. Stylish, patterned wallpapers and candles on the tables add on to the atmosphere.
But SensNonsensu is not only the interior design. Drop by on Tuesdays’ evenings and take part in travel slideshows organized by young globetrotters from Totutotam group. Everyday you can enjoy old Warsaw or klezmer music and taste unpasteurized beer (eg. Ciechan) which you can hardly find at regular shops. In winter time their specialty is a wide range of hot beverages from various types of hot beer to delicious mulled wine with raspberries and orange. Very recommended!
